How to take good care of your evisu jeans

HOW TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR EVISU JEANS?

THE FIRST STEP: COLOR STABILIZATION & SHRINKAGE
All new Evisu jeans will contain solidified starch on the fabric, making it hard in texture. The first thing to do after purchasing is to turn the jeans inside out and wash them in cold and lukewarm water (around 35degrees Celsius). This will fix the color of the starch on the denim, creating a gradual fade effect while maintaining the original sheen on the surface. In the case of non-shrink denim, the above method will shrink the pair of jeans.

Do not use hot water to soak the jeans or tumble-drying as this would lead to a huge degree of shrinkage.
Do not use washing machine to clean your jeans as this will destroy the crinkle effects on it.

WASHED DENIM (FADED OR WORN EFFECT)
This fabric has already been washed during the production process and will not shrink with further washing. The washed denim will not create much special effect with wear, so it can be washed with impunity.

SANFORIZED DENIM (NO2, NO3, NO4, NO13)
Allow for 1" to 1½" shrinkage in the waist and 1½" to 2" in the leg length when washing. The degree of shrinkage can be reduced by cleaning the jeans in cool water. To maximize shrinkage, simply wash the jeans in very hot water or tumble dry it.
